Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using My Gun Vault ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not download, install, or use the Software. My Gun Vault is owned and operated by Duckett Tech LLC ("we", "us", "our").

2. License Grant

Upon purchase of a valid subscription, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software on up to two (2) personal computers. This license is for personal, non-commercial use unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share the Software or your license key.
  • You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software.
  • You may not remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the Software.

3. Subscription & Billing

The Software requires an active paid subscription to operate. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) through Stripe, our third-party payment processor.

  • Monthly Plan: $4.99/month
  • Yearly Plan: $49.99/year
  • Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
  • Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:

  • You will retain access to the Software until the end of your current billing period.
  • No partial refunds will be issued for unused time within a billing period.
  • Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the most recent charge.
  • Refunds are issued at our sole discretion and will be processed back to the original payment method.

5. Data & Privacy

Your firearm data is stored locally on your computer and encrypted with your personal password. We do not have access to your firearm inventory data. The only information we collect is:

  • Your name and email address (for account and license management)
  • A machine identifier (for license enforcement, limited to 2 devices)
  • Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe; we do not store credit card numbers

6. Account Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and license at any time if:

  • You violate these Terms of Service
  • You engage in fraudulent activity, including chargebacks or unauthorized sharing
  • You attempt to circumvent license restrictions
  • Your payment fails and remains unresolved

Terminated accounts are not eligible for refunds.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR UNINTERRUPTED. YOU USE THE SOFTWARE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DUCKETT TECH LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
